Good day and delicious weight loss!

On my channel, I share not only my experience of losing weight, my everyday menu, but also recipes for dishes that are included in my diet.

For a long time I tried various diets, but I managed to achieve the result only by counting calories:

Today I want to share with you a simple and quick recipe for cooking meat. Everything I like - minimum fuss at the stove - maximum result to taste.

The meat is very tender with a spicy sauce.

✅ For cooking, you need only 2 ingredients and spices:

  • turkey thigh fillet (you can use any meat - it will be low in calories with breast),
  • onion,
  • 1/3 teaspoon soda, salt, black pepper are the main spices. If desired, I added oregano, marjoram and a little juniper seasoning,
  • butter 10 g - optional (if using chicken breast, for example).

The basic rule is that onions should be about half the size of meat.

If you cook 950 g of thighs (like mine), then we take about 470 g of onions.

✅Cooking.

Chop onions randomly, but not very coarsely.

We send the onion to stew in a saucepan. We do not add oil. You can add no more than 50 ml of water so that the onion does not burn.

If you are cooking the breast, then you can add a piece of butter no more than 10g, as soon as the onion warms up and starts cooking, so that the onion is not fried in oil, but stewed in its own juice and oil.

As soon as the onion becomes transparent, sprinkle it with baking soda.

❗Soda is a must. It is she who reacts with onions and turns them into a wonderful sauce, which we will bring to taste with spices.

The onion will turn a little yellow and will gradually "dissolve" turning into a homogeneous consistency. Stir occasionally. Simmer under the lid.

Add the finely chopped thigh fillet to the onion as soon as it is almost all gone.

Salt and pepper. I also added marjoram, oregano and juniper seasoning. But salt and pepper are enough.

Simmer for 5 minutes under the lid, then remove the lid. Stir and bring the meat to readiness, evaporating the water so that the sauce becomes thicker, not watery. It took me 15 minutes.

In my opinion, the dish goes best with boiled young potatoes. But with cereals (rice, buckwheat, bulgur) it will also be very tasty.
