Attention: the proportions are indicated for 1 kg of cucumbers, so be careful when harvesting.
So, cut 1 kg of washed and towel-dried cucumbers into slices. Cut one onion into small cubes, chop 6-7 garlic cloves.
I recommend chopping the garlic with a knife, and not passing it through a press. When the garlic pieces are felt, it turns out much tastier - I have already found out empirically)))) So here's a little advice from me.
Now we take a saucepan or frying pan that is suitable in size, put 6 tablespoons of tomato paste, pour 400 ml of water, add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons of salt and 2.5 tablespoons of sugar. Put a few black peppercorns.
As soon as the mixture boils, add cucumbers and onions. Cook, stirring occasionally for 7-8 minutes.
Then add the garlic, pour in 50 ml of vinegar 9% and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Immediately transfer the cucumbers along with the tomato sauce to sterilized jars and roll them up. Done! Bon appetit, friends!
