On my channel, I have already published many different recipes for baking with cottage cheese - bagels, buns, pies, tortillas... Baking with cottage cheese always turns out to be very tasty!
And, today I want to offer you another recipe for baking with cottage cheese - these are soft tasty cookies, shaped like small roses.
Cooking ingredients:
Homemade fat cottage cheese - 250 g
Chicken egg - 1 pc.
Sugar - 50-60 g
Butter (can be replaced with margarine) - 80 g
A pinch of salt (for flavor balance)
Vanillin - to taste
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Flour - 350-400 g
Let's get started ...
We knead the dough. Break an egg into a bowl, put sugar, salt, vanillin and rub it with a whisk.
Add cottage cheese, mix.
Next, sift the flour together with baking powder and knead the soft dough. Do not add all the flour at once, depending on the moisture content of the cottage cheese and the quality of the flour itself, much less of it may be required. And right away, move on to cookie molding.
For ease of use, we divide it into several parts. We roll out one of the parts on the working surface of the table, sprinkling a little flour into a thin layer, probably 0.5 cm thick. Then we cut out round juices with some kind of round cutting or just a glass. We collect the rest of the dough and add it to the remaining dough.
We put the cut circles on top of each other in a small overlap of 4-5 pieces.
Then we twist it tightly.
We cut it in half, turn it over to the cut and Voila... It turns out flowers-roses. So that the lower corners do not diverge to the side, we slightly press them down.
We transfer the cookies to a baking sheet, oiled with vegetable oil or covered with parchment for baking.
We bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
You can sprinkle the finished cookies with icing sugar. Cook, taste, enjoy your tea!
