All good housewives know that curd dough is the most successful for preparing various pastries for tea. From this dough, you can make buns, pies, pies, bagels, and of course cookies.
And today I want to share with you a recipe delicious cottage cheese cookies. Such cookies will surely please even those who do not really like pure cottage cheese.
A minimum of ingredients is required for preparation, the recipe is very simple and easy.
Also, earlier I published other baking recipes with cottage cheese, and at the bottom of this publication I will leave a few links to them - be sure to look, I think you will definitely like something!
Ingredients for making curd biscuits:
Cottage cheese - 250 g
Butter - 80 g
Sugar - 3 tbsp. l.
Baking powder - 1 tsp l.
Salt - a pinch
Flour - 180 g
And some coconut flakes (2 tsp. l.), but this is optional
Getting started cooking ...
Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl. It is desirable that it be dry - you will have to add less flour, and the cookies will turn out to be tastier and softer. I also advise you to take a cottage cheese of a uniform consistency. If there are large grains, rub through a sieve or grind with a hand blender. Add butter and a pinch of salt to the curd.
Grind the cottage cheese with butter with a fork. The mass should be almost homogeneous and soft.
Next, sift the flour and put in the baking powder.
We knead a soft, but rather dense dough - very slightly heterogeneous and not at all sticky to the hands.
Then we divide the dough into 2-3 parts for ease of rolling. We roll each part in turn into a roller (sausage), and then roll it out with a rolling pin into a rectangular layer, up to 2-3 mm thick. Do not forget to lightly dust the surface with flour. Carefully cut off uneven edges.
Sprinkle sugar on the surface of the bed and gently distribute. Add a little bit of coconut on top - but this is not necessary, this is not for everybody!
We fold the rectangle into a tight tube and divide it into several parts, 5-6 cm long. Thus, we form cookies from the remaining dough.
We put the formed cookies on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes. A very aromatic and delicate cookie is obtained. Cook, taste, Enjoy your tea!
