Only fresh young dill is used for freezing. Rinse the dill well under running water, tie it in bundles with threads.
Blanch for literally a couple of seconds in boiling water, take it out, shake it well from excess water, put it on boards and in the freezer, when it's frozen, put it in a bag or plastic container. Send to freezer for quick freezing and storage.
When using, cut without defrosting, the greens are like fresh. And parsley can also be frozen. Great to use in winter for salads, soups... And simply chopped and frozen greens eventually become sluggish, I use this first of all.
