Hello friends! I want to suggest a recipe for my subscriber's pie. He's really very unusual. Crispy bottom and tender top with nutmeg scent. All in all, a very decent and interesting cake.

Auntie Aida's Armenian pie

  • Dice the butter and place in the freezer.
  • Prepare a cake mold (I have a mold with a diameter of 20 cm).
  • Lay parchment down, grease the sides with vegetable or butter.

  • Add baking soda to milk.
  • Pour flour into a blender, add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of baking powder.

  • Grate the nutmeg and add it to the other half of the crumb.
  • Add the egg and milk with soda to this.
  • Stir everything until smooth.
  • Remove the base from the refrigerator and carefully pour the whole mass onto it.
Send to the oven. Baking time from 40 minutes to 1 hour.
  • The cake is ready.
  • When it cools down a little, you can remove it from the mold.
  • From above it is smeared with warm honey.
  • You can decorate the cake however you like.
