Today I want to share with you three very economical chicken soup set dishes.

I'm only asking - potatoes, pasta or rice? And at the request of the majority, I already know what dish I will cook today.

Chicken soup set- cut chicken skeleton, back, cartilage, skin, neck, and sometimes chicken wings.

I always use a chicken soup set for a rich broth. From such a broth, budget and tasty dishes are obtained.

Try it and see for yourself!

For cooking we need:

  • 1 x chicken soup set (i.e. parts from one chicken)
  • carrots - 1-2 pcs.
  • onions-1-2 pcs.
  • vegetable oil-for frying
  • tomato paste or tomato-based seasoning-2-3 tbsp. l.
  • flour-2-3 tbsp. l.
  • potatoes, pasta or rice - take by volume of broth
  • water for broth - look at the volume of the cauldron
  • bay leaf, ground black pepper, salt to taste

Let's start cooking.

It is convenient to cook such a dish in a cauldron or in a high frying pan.

Wash the chicken set and put it in the cauldron.

Close with a lid and fry over high heat, first on one side, then on the other.

Everything is fried very quickly, so we chop the onions and carrots in advance (carrots can be grated on a coarse grater).

Add the onion and fry it until golden brown, then do the same with the carrots.

Fill with cold water.

Cover with a lid, bring to a boil, add salt, bay leaf, black pepper and cook for 30-40 minutes.

Such a broth can be cooked the day before, chilled, take out bay leaves and chicken pieces, put in the refrigerator or freeze.

Now let's get down to the "stuffing". Potatoes, pasta or rice - choose! Three different fillings and three different dishes.

Dish No. 1 with potatoes.

Add tomato paste or homemade tomato-based seasoning, flour to the finished broth, mix well and bring to a boil. Cut the potatoes into large pieces and send them to the boiling broth. Cook the potatoes until tender.

Dish No. 2 with pasta.

Add tomato paste or homemade tomato-based seasoning to the finished broth, mix well and bring to a boil. We send pasta to boiling broth. Cook until tender.

Dish number 3 with rice.

Add tomato paste or homemade tomato-based seasoning to the finished broth, mix well. Rinse the rice and add it to the broth. Cook until rice is cooked.

You can add your favorite seasonings, fresh herbs to taste.
