Today I will continue the series of articles dedicated to Lydia Ivanovna, my mother-in-law, who turned 85 this year. Lydia Ivanovna has no problems with memory and never had. In her age, she knows by heart dozens of poems. Without the slightest exaggeration, my mother-in-law can tell about 30 long poems. Personally, I wouldn't even remember a few. She recently told me about three exercises that train memory, according to her, it is these simple exercises that help maintain memory in excellent condition. In addition, they take just a few minutes a day.
1. We take different coins from our pocket and, without looking at the touch, we are trying to determine the denomination of the coin. If you have coins from other countries, then you can complicate the task by adding them. Also, to use both hemispheres of the brain, perform your usual actions with your left hand. These exercises practically does not take your time, since the coins can be guessed even while walking down the street or, for example, sitting in line. Scroll the photo to the right.
2.Walking with a mirror perfectly stimulates the brain. One gets the impression that you are not walking on the floor but on the ceiling. 2-3 minutes of walking a day is enough. Also, try periodically change something in routine life, for example, choose different routes to a store or other places that you often visit, while cleaning, put things in different, unusual places. Then your brain will always be in good shape. Scroll the photo to the right.
3. Another effective brain-stimulating exercise is walking with your back forward or walking with your eyes closed. Also 2-3 minutes is enough. But care must be taken not to fall. If you liked the article - rate it with your thumb up and, if not signed yet, be sure to subscribe to the channel!
