Today I will tell about two non-standard, but no less effective ways to extract ticks. I recently wrote an article about how you can protect yourself from these harmful insects with essential oils and video for cleaning clothes (link to the publication at the end of the article), but what to do if the tick is still bitten. In this situation the main thing is to get it out of the wound without damaging it, so that you can pass for examination and that part of the tick does not remain in the wound. It is these 2 unusual, at first glance, ways helped out our family 2 times last summer and proved their effectiveness.
1.Syringe. The first case occurred in the country, a tick dug into the neck of my mother-in-law. No loops-threads helped, probably because he was already deep when she noticed him. Husband took the syringe, removed the needle and covered the tick with the hole. It turned out a vacuum and a tick piston instantly stretched out without the slightest damage. The wound was treated with iodine, the tick was taken for analysis - it was not infected with anything. Scroll the photo to the right.
2. Clamp. The second incident happened when I was fishing with my husband and a tick bit into my husband's hand. We had a closed loaf of bread I took a clip from her, unbent it, cut out a small triangle, bent it comfortably, easily hooked on a tick and turning clockwise took it out. And in this case, the tick was not dangerous. If this article was helpful for you - put your finger up and don't forget to subscribe to the channel! Scroll the photo to the right.
