In today's article I will tell you about five things that you really want to throw down the toilet, but it's better not to. I'm sure that 100% of the readers of this article have thrown at least one thing from this list down the toilet at least once, and many, like me before, throw some things out on a regular basis. Now that I have completely eliminated the throw of the following items, I have much less blockages.
1.Tea infusion. If you flush the tea leaves down the toilet once, of course nothing happens. But regular flushing of a dense mass of soggy leaves is likely to lead to a blockage, since the tea leaves adhere to the pipes, gradually accumulating on them, but it is washed off very badly. Better to put it in a plastic bag and take it to the country - why waste excellent fertilizer? By the way, the same situation is and with coffee grounds.
2. It is very convenient to peel off the adhesive plaster in the bathtub, with which you have spent the whole day, and immediately flush it down the toilet. It seems that it will be from a small piece. But it seems so only at first glance, since the adhesive plaster absolutely does not decompose in water, everything is aggravated by the fact that it can still be quite sticky. Even the smallest piece can provoke a serious blockage.
3. Cigarette butts. Do not throw cigarette butts down the toilet, let alone empty ashtrays in this way. The fact is that cigarette butts, in addition to the fact that they do not decompose in water, can significantly increase in size, which will lead to blockage. If a situation arises that you really need to throw the cigarette butt into the toilet, then the best in this case would be wrap it in a piece of toilet paper, so it will immediately fall into the pipe and go further down the drain. If you wash it off without toilet paper, there is a high probability that it will dangle in the water in the toilet, will swell and cause blockages. If you liked the article - rate it with a thumb up!
