I stopped buying bread in the store a long time ago. I bake it myself, almost every day. When I go to visit my parents, I always bring them my own bread, they love it very much. Recently my younger brother Alexey tried it.
He also liked the bread, and he fired up to bake the same. But my brother rarely cooks, so when he was getting ready to bake, he inundated me with questions. I explained everything point by point, and Lech went to make his first bread.
His bread turned out the first time, however, it burned a little, since he forgot to grease the form with butter. For the second time, the bread was perfect.
My brother liked this recipe so much that he started experimenting and baked bread with whole grain flour and even rye. While my brother is experimenting, I decided to shoot this recipe for you. I will not delay, let's cook!
Step by step recipe on how to make bread without kneading
- Flour 3 cups
- Water 1 ⅓ cup
- Salt 1 ½ teaspoon
- Dry yeast ¼ teaspoon
- Optional
- Pumpkin seeds ⅓ cup
- Flax seeds ¼ cup
I send all the dry ingredients into the container and mix with a spatula. I love adding flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds to this bread.
I add water and mix the mixture until smooth.
You do not need to knead the dough, just stir it so that all the ingredients come together.
I cover the container with cling film and leave it for 8 hours at room temperature. In this phase, the bread can be left from 8 to 18 hours.
After the specified time, the dough rose more than 2 times. I stir the dough with a spatula so that it settles.
I dust the table with flour and spread the dough. I fold the dough in "thirds" (see image below).
Then I form a ball and transfer it to a cast iron mold, oiled with vegetable oil. Cover and put in a cold oven for 1 hour.
After an hour, I turn on the oven at 250 ° C and bake bread for 30 minutes under the lid. Then I remove the lid, lower the temperature to 200 ° C and bake for another 30 minutes.
After baking, I put the bread on the wire rack and let it cool completely. That's it, the bread is ready, you can serve it. Let's show what I did.
The bread is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Just in case, I filmed the process. Therefore, if you have any questions, be sure to watch the video recipe.
