Surely everyone has tried Rafaello sweets at least once in their life. For many years, this delicious dessert has existed with only one taste. But recently everything has changed and the Ferrero company decided to release a new flavor.
I tried my first Raphaelka when I was a child. They were brought to us by my father's sister who lived in Finland. They were not yet sold in Russia at that time, and this candy made a great impression on me.
The most amazing thing is that I still like Rafaelki. It seems that the taste has not changed over the entire period of their existence, although they were first released in 1990.
Just recently, the company decided to test a new taste of Rafaelok and released a limited edition of raspberry flavored candies. It was not easy to find them, for this I walked around 7 different stores. How do the rafaelka look like, which is so difficult to buy.
The box is made in the usual form factor. There is nothing special about it. Unless it says that this is a limited edition. In theory, this should spur sales, but in the store where I bought them, no one showed much interest in these sweets. What's inside?
Nothing new here either. All candies are wrapped in their own packaging. Apparently, the Ferrero company decided not to deviate from the classics. It looks like the only thing that has changed is taste. But before you try, you need to check the composition.
The composition of raspberry Rafaelok differs only in the addition of lyophilized raspberries (method of "soft" drying) and dried raspberries. Otherwise, it is completely identical to the classic version of the composition. It's time to give it a try and see if adding raspberries affects the taste of the sweets.
I was very worried that the taste would be so-so, but it seems in vain. The sweets have a pleasant raspberry flavor and there is no aftertaste of chemical flavors at all, which is not surprising, because they are not in the composition. I can't say that the taste surprised me, but my wife and I ate this box in one sitting. Time to sum up.
What would you like to say at the end? I definitely liked the sweets. They have a pleasant taste without a "chymose" flavor, but that's fine with such a good composition. Will I buy them again? I think so, but I will definitely not look for them in different stores.
Do you remember when you first tasted the first Raphaelka?
