30 years ago, foreign chocolates, chewing gum and diluted drinks appeared in Russia. At the wholesale market I found a shop with products from the past. I bought it, tried it and share my impressions.
When there was a coup in the USSR and the country in which I was born ceased to exist, I was very small. At that time, I didn't care what country I was in, but I didn't care that a lot of different chocolates, gum and other sweets in shiny wrappers appeared in the nearest store.
Many foreign products were bought without looking. Something like this, unknowingly, the first adjustable drink appeared at home.
At that time, the taste seemed incredibly juicy, amazing. My brothers and I could just lick this powder without even diluting it with water. But then the parents got acquainted with the composition and stopped buying this drink. Over time, they stopped selling it.
And then I grew up and forgot about all these sweets. But recently I was at the wholesale market and there I found a shop with goods that were very popular after the restructuring. I could not resist and bought some "memories". Wondering what they taste like?
Yupi
Took an orange flavor pack. This was exactly what was popular in my childhood. It is impossible to buy one by one, as in childhood, I had to take the packaging right away. Upon arrival home, I tried it right away, without even reading the composition (so as not to be scared in vain).
I have not tried such nasty things since my trip to a cheap Turkish hotel with All inclusive. And how did I drink this as a child? He did not finish drinking, sent him to the sink, even if he could clean the pipes.
ZUKO
After Yupi, I didn't try ZUKO. Their compositions are identical. And when I read the label, it turned out that these mixtures were made at the same plant. It looks like you'll have to throw it out.
Turbo
When I opened the package of gum, a strong smell of fragrances hit my nose. And although the smell is completely chemical, nostalgia immediately surged. I remembered how my brothers and I drove for Turbo by bus to the other end of the city. There they were the cheapest.
I have a small package, the composition of the gum is always not the best. But I was surprised that Turbo is now being made in Russia. I didn't try it, I haven't chewed any gum for 10 years.
Wispa
It used to be one of my favorite chocolates. But then it disappeared from sale, and the porous chocolate was forgotten for me. It was interesting to try WISPA after so many years. The taste is pleasant, but no more, you will hardly want more than one portion.
Summing up, I want to say that I don't understand how I enjoyed eating these sweets as a child. Now I would never buy them more than once. And although I have not used most of today's collection, I will not throw it away. Let them lie down, and I will remember my childhood.
