Traditional salad "Herring under a fur coat", but instead of herring - smoked mackerel.
An interesting and unusual salad for the holiday table.
RecipeSalad "Mackerel under a fur coat"
Ingredients:
Smoked mackerel - 1 pc.
potatoes - 2 pcs.
carrots - 2 pcs.
beets - 2 pcs.
egg - 2 pcs.
onions - 1 pc.
mayonnaise - 400 g.
Preparation:
1. Vegetables in the skin carefully wash with a sponge.
2. Boil in a saucepan beets (up to 40 minutes), to another carrots and potatoes (15-20 minutes) and the third eggs (8-10 minutes).
3. Let cool vegetables with eggs on the balcony or in the icy water.
4. While cooked vegetables, smoked mackerel cleaned from skin, bones and cut into pieces.
5. Peeled onions finely chopped and spread on bottom of a large oblong plate.
6. Put the top of prepared slices of smoked mackerel.
7. On mackerel rub on a coarse grater peeled boiled potatoes.
8. Schedro mayonnaise cover layer 3 (4-5 tablespoons).
9. Top rub on a coarse grater carrots cleaned and lubricated with mayonnaise.
10. Rub on a coarse grater boiled beets cleaned.
11. Cover layer of beets mayonnaise, egg yolks rub the top, edge plates wipe with paper towels. Possible without the yolks.
12. Insist delicious salad in the refrigerator at least 1 hour and serve a festive table.
