Today I am making a simple but delicious lazy pie. Especially for cabbage lovers! Juicy, aromatic, full-bodied, with a crispy crust.
The filling will be cabbage, very juicy, with spices. I have winter varieties of cabbage. To make it fry faster, I salt it and leave it for 5 minutes. Then I wrinkle my hands well. If the cabbage is young, then this is not necessary.
I warm up the frying pan, add a little vegetable oil and send the onion to fry. Fry for a couple of minutes until light golden brown.
Then I add the carrots. I fry together for a couple of minutes.
I squeeze the cabbage from the liquid and add to the onions and carrots. Fry together, stirring occasionally, over medium heat. Almost until the cabbage is ready.
I will add a little turmeric, the cabbage will be yellowish, beautiful :) I will also add caraway seeds and smoked paprika. All spices at your discretion.
I do not add salt, since I salted the cabbage well at first. Stir, keep on fire for a couple of minutes and transfer to a bowl. Let the cabbage cool down.
I add boiled chicken. You can not add at all, you can add sausage or brisket.
I add parsley. I stir, the filling is ready!
In 250 grams of sour cream (you can take it in half with natural yogurt) I add 3 eggs. Salt and add black ground pepper. Stir with a whisk until smooth.
The pie will be "lazy", I will take pita bread as a test. I need 4 pieces of paper.
I put the sheet in a mold and cut it with scissors.
Using the resulting template, I cut out the remaining sheets of pita bread.
From the total amount of sour cream, I will take three tablespoons in a separate bowl. Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil. I stir it.
I grease each sheet of pita bread with a brush.
I grease the mold with butter and lay the sheets of pita bread greased with pouring. I lay the last fourth leaf unlubricated.
Pour the filling into the cabbage and mix well.
I put the filling in a form with pita bread and level it. I cut the edges of the pita bread to the level with the filling.
I send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees. My pie was baked for 25 minutes, oven with convection. I cover the hot cake with a towel and let it cool slightly.
A fragrant, juicy and bright cabbage pie is ready, you can serve it to the table :)
