An excellent alternative to store-bought cookies will always be homemade, especially since you can add dried fruits, seeds, nuts, flax and sesame seeds to it. It is quite possible to do without adding wheat or any other flour. Oat flakes can be used whole, or you can chop them into fine crumbs using a blender. Also adjust the sweetness at your own discretion. Thus, at home, you can easily prepare a healthy dietary treat.

Ingredients:

  • Oatmeal - 170 g
  • Bananas - 1 pc.
  • Walnuts - 2 tbsp l.
  • Coconut flakes - 3 tbsp l.
  • Chicken egg - 1 pc.
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/5 tsp l.
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l.

To make dietary oatmeal cookies, the first step is to prepare the food. Take a ripe banana, but not overripe, otherwise it will turn black. Chop the nuts yourself or buy peeled kernels. In addition to walnuts, you can also take peanuts, cashews, hazelnuts, almonds.

Pour the oatmeal into a bowl and pour boiling water over it. Very little water is needed, literally 50 ml, so that the flakes absorb it completely and swell. Otherwise, the oatmeal for cookies may be too runny.

While the flakes are swelling, mash the ripe banana with a fork until smooth. Apart from it, no other sweeteners are required.

Pour the coconut into the bowl of mashed banana. It will give the liver a characteristic aroma and a slight crunch on the teeth.

Grind the walnuts to a fine crumb state. This is where a blender comes in handy. You can pour the nuts into a couple of cellophane bags and carefully walk over them with a rolling pin until the desired crumb size is reached.

Next, pour the nuts into a bowl with coconut and banana. Add ground cinnamon there.

Drive in a fresh chicken egg - it will help the components of the oatmeal to adhere better to each other.

Then mix all the ingredients well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Combine swollen oatmeal with a fragrant mass of cinnamon, bananas, coconut flakes. After everything is mixed, you can proceed to laying out the blanks on a baking sheet.

Line a baking dish with baking paper or foil. The selected coating must be greased with vegetable oil, after which, with a regular spoon, lay out small neat portions of oatmeal.

It is necessary to bake dietary oatmeal cookies for a quarter of an hour (if the oven was hot) at a temperature not exceeding 170 degrees. It is better to serve warm or completely cooled, along with tea/coffee. If the cookies lie on a plate until morning, they will dry out slightly and begin to crunch a little.
