The turkey stew with potatoes is a very satisfying and nutritious dish that all family members will love. Cooking is very simple, just load all the ingredients into a saucepan, add a little water and simmer for a while.
Even without additional spices and spices, the dish will turn out to be tasty and aromatic, but, if you wish, you can always add bright and rich seasonings based on your taste preferences. Serve the dish to the table in addition to fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs, salad or homemade pickles.
Ingredients:
Turkey fillet - 250 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Potatoes - 350 g
Salt, pepper - to taste
Garlic - 1 clove
Process description:
1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list.
2. Select a large onion, peel and rinse. Dry, cut into medium-sized cubes or strips.
3. Choose medium carrots, peel. If she is young, she can simply be washed well under running cool water using a stiff brush. Cut into plates or cubes - whichever you prefer.
4. Peel potato tubers and wash well. Cut into large cubes. Leave the prepared vegetables aside for now and turn to the meat.
5. Rinse and dry the turkey; the loin is perfect for stewing. If you wish, you can take another part of the bird. The only thing, since we will not bake the dish, but cook in a saucepan, the selected part of the carcass must first be chop, since a turkey is rarely small, and, taking, for example, a drumstick, it may not even fit in a saucepan. If you nevertheless chose a fillet, you need to cut it into large pieces.
6. Place the prepared vegetables and the turkey in a suitable sized saucepan and add a little water. Season with salt and ground black pepper, also add the garlic clove skipped on the press. Mix all the ingredients and cover the pan with a lid, simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes.
