Salad with Chinese cabbage and croutons is probably one of the most favorite among teenagers and men. A friend of mine prepares it for all family holidays, and every time it is taken apart first from the plates.
It is nourishing, juicy and very crispy, and the aromatic croutons in its composition play the main role in taste. Add them to the salad right before serving and dressing, otherwise they will get wet and the crunchy effect will fail.
Ingredients:
Peking cabbage - 150 g
Salami - 100 g
Canned corn - 4 tablespoons
Croutons - 30 g
Mayonnaise - 2-3 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Ch.m. pepper - taste
Preparation:
1. Prepare the food you need to prepare the salad. Wash the cabbage, dry it, cut off the tough lower part of the leaves.
2. Cut the Chinese cabbage into thin strips and place them in a comfortable deep bowl.
3. Any sausage is suitable for this dish, better cooked and smoked, of good quality and a trusted manufacturer. I took salami in a spicy shell, cut it into small cubes, and added it to a bowl of cabbage. You can also cut the sausage into thin slices.
4. Open a can of canned corn, drain the water, add the grains to the bowl with the rest of the salad ingredients.
5. You can take croutons from rye or white bread - it doesn't matter, it will be delicious. But choose your favorite flavoring additive in them, I like with the taste of bacon or paprika. We also send crackers to salad.
6. We add high-quality mayonnaise last, salt and pepper to taste. Stir the dish gently so that all ingredients are well seasoned. The maximum that you can add is a few sprigs of fresh herbs such as parsley.
7. Serve the salad immediately after cooking, until the croutons are soaked and crispy. Although many argue that with soft breadcrumbs, it tastes just as good. Divide the dish into portions and serve as a snack.
