A salad with cabbage and smoked sausage is quite simple, it can be prepared in a matter of minutes from the available products that are almost always on hand.

The sausage should be chosen the most beloved, delicious. In addition to the main ingredients, you can add some products from yourself to the composition of the dish, for example, fresh cucumbers are perfect here. To make the salad more satisfying, add boiled chicken eggs.

We use mayonnaise as a dressing. Let's literally add a clove of garlic - the result will be excellent. The salad can be served with a host of different side dishes of your choice.

Ingredients:

White cabbage - 100 g

Smoked sausage - 150 g

Fresh cucumbers - 120 g

Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Garlic - 1 clove

Greens to taste

Salt, pepper - to taste

Description of the cooking process:

1. Prepare all the required ingredients that are listed.

2. Choose young cabbage, if this is no longer on sale, then use the usual one. Remove the upper leaves, rinse and dry the head. Then you need to cut the cabbage into a thin strip. You can use a special grater, with which the vegetable can be chopped easily and quickly.

3. Wash and dry fresh cucumbers, you can pre-soak them in cold water - this will make them crisper and return a fresh appearance. Trim the ponytails on both sides, then take a sample for bitterness. Cut the cucumbers into small cubes.

4. Prepare a deep bowl, load the sliced ​​cabbage and cucumbers into it. Remove the shell from the sausage, then cut into small cubes, add to the salad.

5. You can use homemade mayonnaise for dressing. If you are slimming, replace it with light yogurt or low fat sour cream. Add a portion of the sauce to the dish.

6. Take a clove of garlic not too large, peel it and rinse it, grate it on a fine grater. Add the garlic shavings to a bowl and add a little salt and ground black pepper.

7. Stir the salad well and remove the sample, then arrange on plates and serve.
