"Vitamin" salad from cabbage and carrots

This vitamin salad is easy to prepare and very healthy for our body. Nutritionists advise including cabbage and carrots in the menu, they contain a lot of vitamins and trace elements, and Bulgarian pepper is just a champion among vegetables - it is used for a strong heart and blood vessels, it also perfectly cleanses the body from cholesterol.

In summer and autumn, when all these vegetables cost a penny, be sure to prepare such a salad for the whole family. The more often it is in your family's diet, the healthier they will be. It is best to eat this salad 20 minutes before a full meal, then the absorption of vitamins and all nutrients will be maximized.

Ingredients:

White cabbage - 200 g

Carrots - 100 g

Bulgarian red pepper - 100 g

Parsley - 3-4 branches

Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Sea salt or pink salt - to taste

Preparation:

1. Prepare foods from the list. Vegetables must be washed under running water and dried with paper towels.

2. Use a sharp knife to chop the cabbage very thinly. If it is old, you will need to wrinkle it slightly with your hands to make it juicier, and if the head of cabbage is young, you can skip this step. Fold the shredded kale into a comfortable deep bowl.

3. Peel the carrots, grate them on a special Korean-style vegetable grater or on a regular one. Transfer to a bowl with the cabbage.

4. Peel the bell peppers from the stalk and seeds. It is imperative to cut out the soft white part inside the vegetable, it is wadded and unpleasant in taste.

5. Cut the pepper into thin strips, send to a bowl.

6. Finely chop the parsley leaves, add to the vegetables. Next, you need to squeeze out the juice from a slice of lemon or lime - which you like best, by the way, it is a rich source of vitamin C.

7. Now we fill the dish with delicious olive oil, preferably the first pressing.

8. Add to taste good quality salt - sea or pink Himalayan. If you are for a healthy lifestyle, buy one for yourself, it is hundreds of times more useful than cooked food, and it is not so expensive. In addition, its beneficial effects on the body and digestion have long been proven - in reasonable quantities, of course.

9. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and let them stand for just a few minutes before serving, so that the vegetables let in a little juice, so the salad will become much tastier.

10. Divide into portions and serve. Cabbage and carrot salad is ready.
