All.

Changing the fruits, every time you can easily get a new smoothie with kefir in taste and color. It is also easy to influence the thickness, graininess of the drink, to introduce grains, oatmeal and other healthy foods.

Ingredients:

Kefir - 450 ml

Black currant - 50 g

Honey - 30 g

Cardamom to taste

Mint - for serving

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - Stock up on the listed foods. On hot days, use chilled kefir, and frozen berries. Iced black currants (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.) are quickly crushed and immediately further chills the cocktail. If you want, replace honey with granulated sugar and preferably fine sugar so that the crystals are completely dissolved. In addition to kefir, according to this recipe, you can whip smoothies from curdled milk, whey, milk, fruit juices, and drinking water. Typically, smoothies are assumed to have a rather thick consistency and irregularity (graininess), which differs from silky beverages with pulp and puree.

Step 2 - Rinse the berries, remove the twigs, leaves - shake off the water. If the currants are frozen clean, throw into the beating bowl immediately. When you need a drink for children, not too cold, first defrost or take fresh berries.

Step 3 - For those who like additional aroma, I recommend seasoning with ground spices. Cinnamon, star anise, cardamom - whatever you like for desserts. So, cardamom with a pleasant and tasty "chill" has candy notes - children often like it. Grind 2-3 capsules, take out the grains and grind into powder. We send after the currants.

Step 4 - Grind the black currants first with a small amount (1-2 tbsp. l.) liquid (kefir, milk, juice). We get mashed gruel.

Step 5 - Take a few more turns with honey or sugar. It is easier to dilute saturated puree to the required concentration and density.

Step 6 - Now add kefir and stir. At this stage, you can also handle it manually with some improvised means (shake with a spoon, straw, whisk). Bright, healthy and tasty smoothie with kefir and black currant berries is ready.

Step 7 - Pour the kefir, honey, cardamom and black currant smoothie into a convenient container, decorate with a mint branch and serve immediately.
