Minus 63 kg in 2 years: I eat everything that I did not eat on diets and successfully maintain weight thanks to calorie control

"In the first lines of my letter" I want to congratulate all mummies on the last holiday! Since I was resting on Sunday and there was no article.

Happy Holidays!

Minus 63 kg in 2 years: I eat everything that I did not eat on diets and successfully maintain weight thanks to calorie control

Often I see messages and comments about how it is "not fun, difficult, boring and tasteless" to monitor your weight and deprive yourself of even candy.

And every time, after reading such messages, I am surprised: why do such thoughts come to people in our time?

The age of hungry, weird and restrictive diets is a thing of the past. Now, most of those who follow the diet know that:

  • it is important to observe the calorie content of the diet in order to keep track of weight
  • eat a balanced diet (keep the balance of proteins, fats and carbohydrates) in order to have good health.

Knowing your calorie rate, you can afford candy and even cake. Another thing is that in everything there should be moderation and the calorie content of food should not exceed the norm per day / per week, so as not to gain weight in the future.

Or if you are in the process of losing weight, then there should be a slight calorie deficit.

For example, now I have a calorie intake of 1,700 per day or 11,900 kcal per week.

And I manage to maintain my comfortable weight, thanks to the fact that I eat no more than 11,900 kcal per week.

And in a week I can afford a lot of 11,900 kcal.

For myself, I chose a weekend holiday and, accordingly, more high-calorie meals on weekends, for which I leave 100-150 kcal free on weekdays.

Simple math: try not to exceed 11,900 calories in a week.

I will give an example of my menu for those who still think that losing weight and maintaining everything is possible only if there is buckwheat, cucumbers and boiled breast.

⛔To draw up an individual menu and for any questions related to weight loss, you should seek the advice of specialists⛔

Usually I only have Saturday, when I allow myself a high-calorie meal for the 500-600 kcal saved during the week. But this week, on Mother's Day, which fell on Sunday, I decided to take a walk in earnest, but everything turned out within the framework of my calorie intake, taking into account the saved calories left after Saturday.

My day began with a huge piece of cake (170 g) - 615 kcal

How not to try your creation?

Let me remind you of the recipe for chicken "ala chkmeruli" and chicken pie with cabbage and mushrooms:

In honor of the weekend, we brewed aromatic coffee, to which I added 90 g of milk and 15 g of salted caramel syrup for myself.

The coffee turned out to be 130 kcal.

And after coffee I decided to drink green tea (although I should have had a glass of water), and added a little protein to the tea, because today there are enough carbohydrates with fats. Sliced turkey pastroma (120 g) - 125 kcal.

I often say that it is necessary to listen first of all to yourself, your body and the signals that it gives.

After such a carbohydrate bomb for breakfast, and even a fat one, I wanted meat. Just meat, without anything, that's why I ate pastroma with tea, replenishing the diet with protein.

I have a Sunday "order table" today. In addition to the cake, we ordered pasties. And it's over, I roughly calculated whether I can afford to eat cheburek for lunch. Closing my eyes to the BJU, it turned out that I can.

Almost 200 g - 560 kcal

But for dinner I have already made a light mushroom soup. 450 g of soup with 40 g of homemade bread - 320 kcal.

The result of the day is 1750 kcal.

BZHU failed: B - 78, F - 79, U - 178.

But once a week, I think you need a break from everything, including the desire to build a more or less balanced diet.

Obsession with something can play a cruel joke on us. Have you heard of orthorexia nervosa? This obsessive pursuit of healthy and healthy eating is an eating disorder.

But I want to note that you should not abuse such days of rest. In my opinion, the priority should still be "proper nutrition", namely: balanced nutrition with high-quality, healthy products, but without fanaticism.

How are your days off? Did you strictly monitor your diet or did you make yourself a little indulgence in honor of the holiday?
