Lately, thick fruit and vegetable drinks called smoothies have been gaining in popularity. They are prepared by combining different berries, fruits and vegetables, with the addition of milk, drinking yogurt, kefir, mineral water, almond or coconut milk, freshly squeezed juice, and so on.
Serving these drinks for family breakfast, before or after exercise, especially protein smoothies such as cottage cheese for muscle building, is great. They are also often served during the diet as a healthy and satisfying meal. If you have never cooked or tried a smoothie, be sure to prepare this tasty and healthy drink for your homemade, not only adults adore it, children are also delighted with it.
Ingredients:
Milk - 2 cups
Bananas - 2 pcs.
Kiwi - 4 pcs.
Honey (optional) - 2 tablespoons
Preparation:
Prepare foods on the list. Take bananas and kiwi ripe, soft and sweet, then you don't need to add honey. Milk will suit any fat content that you usually buy.
If the kiwi is very ripe, you don't need to peel it. Take a teaspoon with a sharp nose and scoop out all the flesh with it. Place it in a blender bowl.
Peel the bananas, cut into small pieces, put in a blender.
While adding milk in small portions, start whisking the smoothie. Adjust the density as you wish - from very thick, which can be eaten with a spoon, to a drinking state.
Taste it, if necessary - add a little honey if the drink is sour due to kiwi.
Pour the finished kiwi banana smoothie into portioned glasses and serve immediately after cooking.
If desired, you can add an ice cube to each serving. Decorate the glass with a slice of kiwi or banana, add a mint leaf if available.
