A delicious and nutritious salad with boiled sausage can be prepared in minutes if you have such a product in your refrigerator, along with fresh seasonal vegetables. Remember that sausage dishes are seasoned with mayonnaise, not vegetable oil. Therefore, those who follow a diet or try not to consume a lot of calories should buy diet mayonnaise or replace it with a less high-calorie sauce such as Aioli.

You can cook the salad in portions or in a large salad bowl, serving it unmixed. Choose a variety of boiled sausage at your discretion: Doctor's, Ostankinskaya, Milk, etc. To those who loves spicy tastes, it is possible to recommend complementing the dish with grain mustard (French, Dijon and etc.).

Ingredients:

Boiled sausage - 250 g

Tomatoes - 4 pcs.

Cucumber - 1 pc. (large)

Mayonnaise - 2 tsp

Red onion - 1 pc. (small)

Leaf lettuce - 4 leaves

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation:

1. Rinse lettuce in water (you can use various varieties of greens without a harsh and bitter taste), tear off the stems with your hands, leaving only juicy greens. Place half of the leaves on the bottom of glasses, bowls, or salad bowls. Rinse the tomatoes in water, cut the green cores out of them, cut in half, then in slices, and place on lettuce leaves. It is advisable to purchase tomatoes with dense pulp, not juicy, so that the dish does not "float" after cooking.

2. Rinse a large cucumber or several small ones, carefully removing dust and thorns from the surface. If you are using late vegetables, be sure to taste them so they don't taste bitter, cut the skin off and peel the seeds. Cut the cucumber into half rings and add to the containers.

3. Peel the red onion, rinse under running water, cut in half and cut into half rings. Chop the slices over the cucumber layer. It is permissible to replace red onions with green or onions, leeks.

4. Spread the mayonnaise, lightly spreading it over the vegetable slices. Season the dish with salt and pepper.

5. Cut the boiled sausage into slices, then chop each of them into cubes or slices. Place the sausage slices in containers, filling them to the top.

Decorate the salad with tomato slices, lettuce leaves, and fresh herbs. Serve immediately after cooking. The dish is stirred immediately before tasting.
