Turkey goulash with gravy is a great option for a tasty and satisfying dish that can be easily served with various side dishes: mashed potatoes, buckwheat porridge, rice, pasta - and whatever. If you prefer a lighter meal, then you can serve vegetables or just herbs as an addition to the goulash.
Turkey is nutritious meat, suitable for both lunch and dinner. For the recipe, it is best to use fresh poultry loin, frozen meat will no longer be so tasty. You can also always experiment with spices and herbs.
Ingredients:
Turkey fillet - 300 g
Carrots - 1 pc.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Garlic - 1 clove
Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon
Sour cream - 1 tbsp.
Paprika - 0.5 tsp
Water - 60 ml
Flour - 1 tsp
Salt, pepper - to taste
Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
Cooking process:
1. Prepare all the required ingredients according to the list.
2. Rinse the turkey fillet under cool running water and pat dry with paper kitchen towels. Cut into small pieces.
3. Peel medium-sized onion and carrots. Wash and dry the vegetables, cut the onion into half rings or strips. Grate carrots on a coarse grater.
4. Heat a little vegetable oil in a frying pan, transfer the meat and vegetables. Roast the turkey for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly so that it does not burn. In the process, add a finely chopped clove of garlic.
5. Dissolve the tomato paste in a little warm water, mix well. Pour the tomato into the pan with meat and vegetables.
6. Add some flour. While stirring actively, simmer the meat for 7-10 minutes.
7. At the end of cooking add sour cream, salt and pepper, paprika. Stir the dish and cook for another 7-10 minutes.
8. Arrange the ready-made goulash on plates and serve.
