Pancakes are a delicious dish and a great breakfast option. I'm sure every housewife has her own proven recipe, which she uses constantly. After all, pancakes are very popular not only in our country, but also in many other countries. They can be prepared from a variety of dairy and sour-milk products, there are even recipes where water is taken as a basis. Today I want to tell you how to make thin, soft pancakes in milk with the addition of soda. Thanks to soda powder, the structure of the pancake is more porous, which has a positive effect on the taste.
Ingredients:
Milk - 250 ml.
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Soda - 0.5 tsp.
Vinegar 9% - 1 tbsp
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Flour - 80 g.
Step by step recipe:
1. To make thin pancakes with milk, baking soda and vinegar, prepare the foods on the list.
2. Heat the milk slightly and pour into a bowl suitable for kneading.
3. Since we will use not a fermented milk product, but a dairy product, the soda must be extinguished with vinegar or lemon juice. Take the required amount of soda powder in a large spoon and mix with vinegar. Add the frothy mixture to the milk and mix well.
4. Beat in an egg and add sugar. If cooked with homemade eggs, the pancakes will turn out slightly yellowish.
5. Use a whisk to shake the egg until it completely breaks apart and combines with the liquid. Pour in vegetable oil.
6. Sift the premium flour and add portions to the milk-egg mixture.
7. Stir thoroughly, the dough should be perfectly homogeneous, without a single lump. You can use a mixer if you wish. Leave the finished pancake dough for 20 minutes at room temperature.
8. Grease the frying pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil and put on fire. Chop well and pour a small amount of dough. Using circular motions, turning the pan in one direction or the other, distribute the dough over the entire bottom.
9. When it dries noticeably and bubbles appear, use a spatula to gently turn the pancake over to the other side and fry until golden brown.
10. Thus, we prepare all the pancakes, only it is no longer necessary to grease the pan with oil. We carry out this manipulation only before frying the first pancake.
11. Delicious, porous pancakes mixed with milk and soda are ready.
Serve hot.
The pancakes are so soft and pliable that any filling can be easily wrapped in them. It can be curd mass, jam, condensed milk and even liver pate. A cup of aromatic herbal tea will only complement this taste harmony.
