Oven-baked or otherwise marinated chicken breast is one of the most popular dishes for people who are looking after their diet or trying to lose weight. It has long been known that chicken fillet is the most useful and low-calorie meat, from which it is simply impossible to recover. But eating only boiled or baked breast is very boring, so we will marinate it today according to the most delicious and simple recipe.
Ingredients:
Orange juice - 150 g
Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Lemon (or lime) juice - 2 tablespoons
Liquid honey - 1 tbsp.
Sea salt - to taste
Ground pepper - to taste
Garlic - 3 cloves
Preparation:
1. To make a marinade for a juicy chicken breast, prepare the following foods on the list. You can make orange juice with your own hands, but if this is not possible, then use a purchased one, only of good quality and a trusted manufacturer. Honey can also be absolutely any, for me, for example, buckwheat. By the way, if you are allergic to it, then you can replace it with agave / maple syrup.
2. The first step is to mix orange juice and good quality olive oil, preferably extra virgin olive oil.
3. Then add soy sauce, preferably also of good quality.
4. Now you need to squeeze out the juice of lemon or lime - there is no fundamental difference.
5. Crush a large clove of garlic with the back of a knife, put it in the marinade. By the way, you can pass it through the press, but then it will be present on the chicken breast during cooking. If this does not bother you, you can grind it like this.
6. Now the mixture can be salt and pepper to taste, mix until smooth.
7. Put the breast in the marinade and leave it for at least 1 hour, although I like it better when the chicken is marinated in it for 24 hours.
The marinated chicken breast according to this recipe will be most delicious if you cook it in a grill pan or grill.
