Ingredients:
Chicken thigh - 4 pcs.
Honey - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 25 ml.
Seasoning for poultry - 1 tbsp.
Ground black pepper - to taste
Salt to taste
Step by step recipe:
1. Prepare the required ingredients to cook chicken thighs in the oven. It is better to choose fresh, chilled meat. It is not recommended to use frozen thighs, as they will not turn out so tasty.
2. Rinse the chicken under cold running water, if there are any remaining feathers, be sure to remove them. Blot the meat with paper towels until it is completely dry and place in a bowl.
3. Add spices: salt, black pepper and poultry seasoning. If desired, this list can be increased by adding seasonings to your liking, the main thing is not to overdo it with salt, since soy sauce is used in the recipe. Stir the thighs with your hands, rubbing the spices into each bite.
4. Pour in the soy sauce and honey. Stir again. Tighten the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, in winter you can take it to the balcony.
5. After the specified time, the chicken thighs will be saturated with all the tastes and aromas of honey-soy marinade. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, cover with foil and place in the oven.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes. Leave the foil on for the first 20 minutes, and then cook without it. During the cooking process, a lot of juice is formed, periodically water the meat with it so that it acquires a beautiful crust.
7. Oven baked chicken thighs are ready. Serve hot.
As a side dish, boiled rice or mashed potatoes are perfect for this dish. And also - fresh vegetables, herbs, and, of course, tomato sauce.
