New Year's salad "Pig" with chicken and pineapples

For lovers of themed dishes, I offer a simple idea for a New Year's salad in the shape of a pig - the symbol of 2019. In fact, the composition can be anything you like and taste. The main thing is to fill with mayonnaise for sculpting a volumetric figure and stock up on additional products (boiled sausage + olives) to detail the funny pig.

Ingredients:

Chicken fillet - 350 g

Canned pineapples - 200 g

Canned corn - 100 g

Hard cheese - 100 g

Garlic - 1 tooth

Greens - 20 g

Mayonnaise - 50 g

Boiled sausage - 50 g

Olives - 1 pc.

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Step by step recipe:

Step 1 - To make a pig-shaped New Year's salad, take the groceries listed. Under the top layer, you can easily hide the beloved Olivier, Fur coat, Mimosa, salad with crab sticks Tenderness, Ladies' or Men's whim - everything that is seasoned with mayonnaise. My recipe is a salad with chicken, pineapple and corn. It has a lot of sweetness, juiciness and dietary chicken meat.

Step 2 - In advance, for about half an hour, boil the breast in salted boiling water, into which we throw garlic, branches of fresh herbs for aroma. Let it cool without removing it from the broth. Then the meat will remain tender, filled with moisture. Cut or tear the cold fillet into small pieces.

Step 3 - Lightly dry the pineapple rings and corn kernels. Cut the pineapples into cubes of approximately the same size and add to the chicken together with the corn.

Step 4 - Mix with mayonnaise, ground hot pepper and add a little salt if necessary. Let's try.

Step 5 - Ram the viscous mass and place it on a flat plate. We form a workpiece elongated along the length, something like an oval. We make one edge (the future place of the head) a little lower and already the opposite.

Step 6 - Three thin shavings of hard cheese and sprinkle the workpiece from all sides. Sweep away the "trash" and wipe the plate dry.

Step 7 - Cut out improvised ears from the boiled sausage, a muzzle with through nostrils (we press the holes with a straw for cocktails), a curl tail, from olives - eyes.

We put a muzzle-nose on a drop of mayonnaise, a little higher - eyes. We retreat a couple of centimeters up and vertically set the ears, fasten the tail behind. We decorate the New Year's salad in the shape of a pig with herbs, cranberries. Before serving, keep on the refrigerator shelf for 30 minutes. Happy Holidays!
