A very satisfying and appetizing dish can be prepared in almost half an hour, having simple products at hand. Potatoes with minced meat and cheese in the oven will appeal not only to your home, but also to your guests, because such a dish can even be served on a festive table in the heat of the heat, adding a salad of fresh vegetables.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 6 pcs.

Minced meat - 400 g

Hard cheese - 150 g

Salt and pepper to taste

Water - 50 ml

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

How to cook:

1. Prepare the food you need. In order for the potato base in the dish to have time to cook, be sure to choose boiled potatoes, asking the sellers: the root vegetables they sell are recommended for cooking or frying. Minced meat can be anything: pork, pork and beef, chicken. The main thing is that fat must be present in it so that the potatoes can absorb it. Add onions as desired, as many children do not like dishes with its participation.

2. Peel the potato tubers, rinse in water and cut into slices no more than 0.5 cm wide. Grease a baking dish with olive oil or sunflower oil. Place the potato circles in it, carefully spreading them over the bottom.

3. Season the potato layer with salt and pepper. If desired, you can add spices or seasonings: ground thyme, oregano, rosemary, etc. - be guided to your liking.

4. Spread the minced meat carefully on top. If it is frozen, then pre-defrost the product at room temperature for 2-3 hours, or even better - place it in the refrigerator overnight and in the morning it will be ready for cooking. Salt and pepper the minced meat too. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Pour warm water from the side into the mold - it is necessary so that the potatoes do not taste dry and bake even inside. Place in the oven and bake the dish for about 25-30 minutes, checking its readiness with a skewer or knife. If the potato layer pierces easily, then you can add cheese.

5. While the dish is cooking, grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater.

6. Remove the dish from the oven using an oven mitt or towel. Sprinkle some grated cheese on top and place back in the oven. Bake for another 3-5 minutes until the shavings are melted and golden brown.

7. After that, take out the form and let its contents cool slightly.

Serve the potatoes with minced meat under the cheese to the table right in the mold, slicing the dish with a silicone spatula. Garnish with fresh herbs and taste!
