When choosing between methods of cooking meat, I prefer baking. Since it is tasty, healthy, fast and without unnecessary hassle. The only thing I don't really like is washing the oven and trays. But a solution was found for this too. Using the baking sleeve, everything has become so simple that you can cook such dishes every day.

Today I will tell you how to bake a turkey drumstick in the oven in the sleeve. The drumstick is a part of a bird that has many large tendons and is large in size, so we must marinate it. The range of spices can be expanded at will by adding your favorite herbs. The drumstick will take a long time to bake, about 1.5 hours, but the dish is worth it to wait. The meat prepared according to this recipe will turn out to be very tasty, soft, juicy and appetizing. I recommend trying it!

Ingredients:

Turkey drumstick - 450 g.

Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon

Honey - 0.5 tsp

Mustard - 0.5 tsp

Garlic - 1 clove

Salt, black pepper - to taste

Rosemary - 1 sprig

Step by step recipe:

1. To bake a turkey drumstick in a sleeve in the oven, prepare the ingredients listed for the recipe. Choose fresh meat that has not been frozen. You will also need a baking sleeve, which can be purchased at any supermarket. Thoroughly wash the turkey drumstick under cold running water; if there are remains of feathers, be sure to remove them. Dry the meat with paper towels.

2. In a small container, combine the ingredients for the marinade: honey, mustard, soy sauce, a pinch of salt and black pepper. Squeeze the garlic through a press and stir thoroughly. Use little salt, soy sauce compensates for its lack.

3. Pour the marinade over the meat and send it to a cold place for 3-4 hours. If time permits, leave it for the whole night. The longer the drumstick is marinated, the tastier and juicier it will be.

4. After the time has passed, transfer the turkey meat to a roasting sleeve, add a sprig of rosemary and tie tightly on both sides. Bake at 180 degrees for 1.5 hours. To get a beautiful, golden crust on the shin, carefully cut the sleeve 10 minutes before the end of cooking and pour over the juice formed in the bag.

5. Delicious turkey drumstick baked in the oven in the sleeve is ready. Put it on a nice dish and serve hot.

Mashed potatoes, pasta and a variety of cereals, as well as herbs and fresh vegetables are perfect as a side dish. Cook with love!
