A delicious and beautiful snack for one or two bites is appropriate for celebrating Christmas, New Year and other festive events. So, with waffle tartlets with slightly salted salmon and delicate curd cheese, you can start a buffet table for the first guests, in anticipation of the main feast.

Ingredients:

Tartlets - 9 pcs.

Lightly salted salmon - 100 g

Curd cheese - 100 g

Fresh cucumber - 1 pc.

Parsley - 20 g

Lemon - 0.5 pcs.

To collect salmon tartlets at home, take the foods listed. The easiest way is to buy ready-made tartlet baskets, but you can also bake them yourself in small tins. The dough is good puff, unleavened, shortbread, any that can remain thin, crispy and light, since the main thing in the appetizer is the filling.

For a presentable look, we combine products that are not only different in taste, but also in color.

We chop a pure cucumber into thin, almost transparent flexible circles - we work as a vegetable peeler. Cucumber plates retain their freshness and shape for a long time, do not emit juice and contrast well with fish and soft cheese.

By the type of flower petals, insert the chopped cucumbers vertically into the base tartlet. Enough three mugs with a slight overlap.

We fill all the baskets with cucumber, adhering to a single principle.

Lay out the red fish in the next tier. If necessary, remove the bones, cut off the shell.

First, lightly salted salmon should be cut into long and not too thick strips about 2 cm wide. Fold in a circle (ring) and lower it inside each tartlet (inside the cucumber edging). We leave the middle empty for the cheese.

In addition to salmon, they take different types of red fish, oil, cold-smoked mackerel, and herring.

For an ordinary party, curd cheese can be laid out with a ball or a piece of irregular shape. For a more solemn event, we plant spiral and embossed pyramids using a pastry bag. The cheese is so delicate and pliable that there are no difficulties with the design.

The final touch: stick the leaves of parsley or any other greenery into the white cheese pyramids. Before serving, keep the baskets with the filling on the refrigerator shelf.
