A hearty and tasty dish for everyday lunch / dinner - mackerel with vegetables in the oven. An incomparable result is always obtained, which will appeal to absolutely everyone. The recipe is quite simple, because it is affordable, even a schoolboy can handle it. The dish itself turns out to be quite nutritious, mackerel perfectly soaks vegetables with its juice, so it is unnecessary to add We will not be calories with vegetable oil, except that you can lightly grease the foil so that during the baking process it does not stick to fish.

In general, I do not like the addition of lemon to a large number of fish, because their full taste is not revealed, but broken. Plus lemon dries, and not every kind of fish likes it. But all this does not work with mackerel - here the lemon is in its place, it smooths out its fat content and gives it a slight sourness - that's it! Serving the dish is just perfect with fresh herbs and vegetable slices.

Ingredients:

Mackerel s / m - 300 g

Potatoes - 4 pcs.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Lemon - to taste

Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.

Salt, pepper - to taste

Thyme - 1-2 branches

Prepare all products according to the list. Expand the vegetable set at will - it all depends on your taste. Immediately turn on and preheat the oven, setting 180 degrees.

Take the mackerel out of the freezer the day before, put it on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator and leave it overnight. When the fish is thawed, remove the head and tail and entrails. Rinse the carcass and dry.

Peel, wash, dry potato tubers. Chop pretty coarsely.

Peel large carrots, rinse and dry. Then cut into plates.
