This dish is loved by my homemade, so I cook it quite often. Not only is it very easy to cook potatoes with chicken in French in the oven, not counting the baking time, it also turns out to be very tasty. If you do not like or do not want to stand at the stove for a long time, but you need to cook a hearty dinner for the whole family, then use this recipe, this is a real lifesaver.

Ingredients:

Potatoes - 500 g

Chicken fillet - 300 g

Champignons - 5 pcs.

Tomato - 1 pc.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Mayonnaise - 3 tablespoons

Salt to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

How to cook:

Prepare foods from the list. Peel the onions and potatoes, wash them under running water along with chicken fillets, tomatoes and mushrooms. Pat dry with paper towels.

Since the cooking time in the oven for chicken fillets and potatoes is completely different, the tubers need to be slightly boiled. Boil salted water and boil potatoes in it for 5-6 minutes.

Meanwhile, slice half the onion and place it on the bottom of the baking sheet.

Cut the chicken fillet into thin pieces, cover with cling film, lightly beat with a special kitchen hammer. Put the beaten meat on a layer of onions, season with salt and ground pepper, brush with mayonnaise.

Sprinkle the second half of the chopped onion over the chicken.

Now lay out a layer of thinly sliced ​​mushrooms. Do not put too many of them, do not forget that during cooking, water will come out of them, sometimes it can be too much. If desired, the mushrooms can be lightly fried, then the finished dish will be even tastier.

Place thinly sliced ​​tomato slices on top of the mushrooms.

Cut the semi-finished potatoes into thin slices, place them as follows. The potato layer also needs to be lightly salted and pepper to taste.

Brush each potato slice with a silicone brush with delicious mayonnaise. Send the mold to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 40-60 minutes. If the potatoes are pierced with a knife and they are soft, then the dish is ready.

In this version, I never add cheese, but if you like and are not afraid of extra calories, then you can safely sprinkle the potatoes with cheese shavings 15 minutes before the end of cooking.
