Remember that mushrooms release a lot of liquid during heat treatment, so potato slices roasted first almost until golden brown, and only after that oyster mushrooms are added to the pan and onion. Otherwise, the potatoes will absorb all the liquid, and you will end up with mashed potatoes.

Ingredients:

Oyster mushrooms - 300 g

Potatoes - 2 pcs. (large)

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 2.5 tablespoons

Salt and pepper to taste

How to cook:

Prepare food.

Peel potatoes, rinse in water and cut vertically in half. Cut into slices. Rinse the mushrooms too, cut from the mycelium, divide into separate fragments and cut into ribbons or long cubes. Peel the onion, rinse and chop into half rings.

Heat a heavy-bottomed frying pan on the stove, add vegetable oil. Heat it for about 1 minute and add the potato slices to the container. Stir immediately until it is completely covered in grease. Fry on medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, uncovered and stirring occasionally.

Then add the oyster mushroom slices.

Then add onion, salt and ground black pepper. Thanks to the salt, the liquid will be released from the mushrooms faster and the dish will cook faster, so you need to salt it just when laying the mushroom slices.

Mix everything carefully, close the container with a lid and fry for about 4-5 minutes more. Then remove the cover.

Fry the potatoes with mushrooms on medium heat until tender (5-6 minutes), stirring from time to time. Avoid doing this very often, as the potato slices may turn into mashed potatoes.
