Ingredients:

Puff pastry - 300 g

Apricot jam - 2 tablespoons

Apple - 1 pc.

Flour - if necessary

Vanilla sugar - 10 g

To bake the apple puff pie puff pastry, prepare the items on the list. Defrost the semi-finished product in advance at room temperature without opening the package, or, according to the instructions for the microwave oven, thaw it with it. Typically, defrosting times are calculated from the weight of the food. Wash the apple, wipe it dry.

Jam can be any, preferably light in color. I really like to use apricot in this recipe,

peach and even orange. These three types of jams work especially well in such baked goods.

Cut a piece of baking paper, dust with a little flour if necessary. Put puff pastry on it, roll it thinly with a rolling pin. Wrap the sides on the sides, so the filling does not leak out during cooking.

Transfer the dough and paper to a convenient baking sheet. To prevent it from swelling in the middle during baking, prick with the tines of a fork.

Then grease the entire surface of the dough with your favorite jam, without going over the sides.

Peel a large sweet and sour apple, cut in half, remove the seeds and tail. Cut the flesh into very thin slices and place them on top of the dough, greased with jam.

Sprinkle the apple slices generously with vanilla sugar. Send the workpiece to an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 20 minutes.
