Fasting doesn't mean depriving yourself of delicious homemade baked goods. After all, it can be prepared from the simplest ingredients, excluding milk, butter and eggs. Even so, the buns prepared according to this recipe are tasty, soft and very aromatic, thanks to the cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

Dough:
Water - 125 ml.
Wheat flour - 2 cups
Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Dry yeast - 1 tsp
Vanilla sugar - 1 tablespoon
Filling:
Ground cinnamon - 1.5 tbsp
Sugar - 1.5 tablespoons
Syrup:
Water - 3 tbsp.
Sugar - 1 tsp
Step by step recipe:
To make lean buns, we will prepare the products according to the list for the recipe. We need warm water, vegetable oil - refined odorless, and wheat flour - sifted, of the highest grade.
Pour water into a suitable container, dissolve sugar in it and add dry yeast. Stir and leave for a while, about 10-15 minutes, at room temperature.
When the yeast granules swell and rise in the form of a fluffy cap above the liquid, we continue cooking.
Add vegetable oil and vanilla sugar to the dough. Stir again to dissolve the crystals.
Then gradually add flour and knead soft yeast dough.
Roll up the bun and put it in a deep bowl for the approach. Cover the container with a towel and leave it warm for 1.5 hours.
In the allotted time, the dough will fill most of the bowl with its volume, since it will at least double.
Let's divide it into two parts. Roll each of them into a thin layer and evenly distribute the filling consisting of sugar and ground cinnamon.

Cut into portioned blanks of the same length.
We put our mini rolls in a heat-resistant dish, oiled or covered with parchment. Cover with a towel and leave for 20 minutes. During this time, preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
After proving, grease the buns with sweet sire. To do this, dissolve 1 teaspoon of sugar in a little water.
We will send the form to the oven and bake the buns until they are beautifully golden brown, about 30-35 minutes. But it is better to focus not on time, but on your technique, since each oven bakes in its own way.
