Today I want to share a dough recipe that has been tested over the years. This is how my mother, sister, and, of course, me. The dough is kneaded in mineral water with the addition of simple, standard ingredients. As a result, due to some miraculous properties of mineral water, it turns out to be gorgeous - it easily rolls out and does not break, and the edges stick together perfectly. This makes it possible to make small and neat products.

We always make a lot of dumplings from such dough, as they say, we prepare for future use. Therefore, the amount of ingredients is given for a large portion, which is designed for 700 grams of meat filling.

Ingredients:

Mineral water - 2 glasses

Salt - 1 tsp

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Wheat flour - 6.5 cups

To prepare the dough on mineral water for dumplings or dumplings, prepare the necessary set of products.

In a deep bowl, convenient for kneading, pour mineral water, add salt and a chicken egg. Mix thoroughly to dissolve the salt and spread the egg throughout the liquid. To simplify your task, at this stage you can use a whisk or mixer.

Then add the sifted wheat flour in portions and mix again. When the mixture is thick enough, transfer it to a floured table and continue stirring with your hands. You may need a little more or less flour, so add it in small portions.

The result should be a resilient, elastic dough that does not stick either to your hands or to the work surface.

The dough for dumplings mixed with mineral water is ready.

You can start sculpting. To do this, divide it into several parts and roll it into a thin layer. Then, using a glass, squeeze out the circles of the desired size. The larger the punching diameter, the larger the products will be. Put some minced meat in the center of each piece, then blind and join the edges to form dumplings.

In conclusion, I would like to say that it is a pleasure to work with such a test. It is very flexible and pliable. Homemade dumplings or dumplings from it are neat and beautiful. Enjoy cooking.
