You can bake a whole chicken not only in the oven of a gas stove, but also in a multicooker, and it doesn't matter what model you have. Marinate the bird with paprika (for color) and sour cream with mustard. Both in taste and in appearance, it will come out very appetizing and tasty.

In addition to a side dish, for example mashed potatoes or just boiled cereals (buckwheat / rice), various marinades and pickles or vegetable salads are perfect for such a chicken.

Ingredients:

Chicken - 1450 gr.

Sour cream - 2 tablespoons

Paprika - 1.5 tsp

Mustard - 2 tsp

Salt and spices to taste

We prepare products according to the list. The weight of chicken for baking in a multicooker should be within 1.5 kg, a larger carcass is difficult to fit in a bowl.

Cooking marinade for chicken: combine and thoroughly mix paprika, sour cream, salt, mustard and spices (any to your taste will do, I took Provence).

We wash the carcass under running water, dry it with a napkin. We remove, if any, hairs and small feathers, they usually remain on store-bought carcasses in the area of ​​the wings and on the legs.

Lubricate the chicken with sour cream-mustard mixture. We put the carcass in the multicooker bowl. My volume is 4 liters. Leave the bird to marinate for 40-50 minutes. Pour, if left, the marinade on top of it.

After a while, sprinkle the chicken with paprika. We try to do this evenly so that there are no white spots left, because paprika gives the meat not only taste, but also a ruddy color.

We put the bowl in the multicooker, close the lid. We bake the chicken on the Baking program until cooked. In my multicooker model, this mode lasts 45 minutes. Usually, during this time, the chicken is not yet completely ready, it all depends on the weight of the carcass. Therefore, we set the "Baking" mode again, but we do not cook the whole cycle. I turn off early as soon as the chicken is done.

You can check the readiness as follows: we collect the juice inside the carcass with a tablespoon, it should be light, not bloody. Gently remove the bird from the bowl while it is hot.
