Many people cook on the basis of kefir, whey or even water. I prefer the classic version of the dough in milk with the addition of soda, sugar, eggs, vegetable oil and flour. Despite the meager selection of ingredients, the result is always flawless.

The dough is homogeneous and liquid enough, which allows you to easily distribute it evenly over the bottom of the pan. Pancakes, in turn, flip perfectly and do not break at the same time. Ingredients:

Milk - 1 glass

Sugar - 1 tablespoon

Chicken egg - 1 pc.

Soda -0.5 tsp

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon

Wheat flour - 0.5 cups

Before cooking, prepare the ingredients according to the recipe list. They should all be at the same (room) temperature, so remove perishable foods (eggs and milk) from the refrigerator in advance, and sift the wheat flour through a fine sieve.

Wash the chicken egg thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels. Then beat it into the bowl in which you will knead the dough, add granulated sugar.

If you plan to wrap unsweetened filling in pancakes, you can reduce the amount of sugar, but you should not completely exclude it. Since it gives the baked goods a golden color.

Whisk the mixture until light foam and crystals dissolve. Use a mixer to shorten the mixing time.

Pour milk and vegetable oil into the egg mixture.

Add wheat flour with baking soda and stir again, trying to bring the dough to a uniform consistency. Then let it brew for 10-15 minutes.

That's all. The classic pancake dough in milk is ready. You can proceed directly to frying. Do this in a well-heated frying pan greased with a thin layer of vegetable oil. It takes about 1.5 minutes to bake one pancake on both sides, so it's better not to go far from the stove.

The classic pancake dough with milk allows you to get a delicious dessert, since pancakes are mainly served with jam, honey or condensed milk. If you plan to wrap the filling inside, let the baked goods cool completely.
