Today I want to bring to your attention a simple, time-tested dish made from chicken liver with the addition of sour cream. We will cook it in a multicooker, which will significantly save our time. While the liver is stewing, you can start preparing a side dish.
The recipe itself is so simple that any schoolgirl can handle it. And, of course, this is not only delicious, but also very healthy. Chicken liver is a rather capricious product, if you keep it on the stove longer, then it turns out to be rubber. But the multicooker will cope with this problem, since the stewing temperature is very low and the sour cream itself gives softness and tenderness to the offal.
Mashed potatoes are ideal as a side dish - a classic! But I note that it is very tasty to serve such a dish, for example, with corn porridge or bulgur, and with buckwheat it is also good.

Ingredients:
Chicken liver - 600 grams
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Carrots - 1 pc.
Sour cream 20% - 1 glass
Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Black pepper - to taste
Ground coriander - 1 pinch
Step by step recipe:
To prepare the dish, we need a standard set of products, which is headed by the chicken liver itself. By the way, you can safely replace it with a turkey.
When choosing sour cream, pay attention to its quality and fat content, this is important! It should be fresh, not sour, with a high percentage of fat, at least 20. It is even better to take a rustic one, then the sauce when heated will not go flakes, but it will turn out to be beautiful and uniform. Very often housewives choose sour cream with a low percentage of fat and add flour to it to thicken gravy, but to be honest, I don't really like this method, but this technique often helps many.
First of all, clean the liver from films and streaks, fill it with cold water and put it in the refrigerator.
Cut the onion into half rings. Grate the carrots on a medium grater.
Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, add vegetables. Cook on the Fry program for 5-7 minutes.
Then add the liver pre-dried with paper towels. Fry it with vegetables for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and coriander and stir.
Now add the sour cream, stir, set the "Stew" program for 15-20 minutes and cook until the signal.
Just in time for the time you cook garnish. Serve the stewed chicken liver in sour cream with or without it. You can serve it simply with sour cream sauce and white bread, very tasty to dip it in sauce. Or simply complement the dish with fresh vegetables.
The liver, cooked in this way, turns out to be very tender, soft and tasty.
