A juicy and tasty dish for lunch or dinner can be created even in 10-15 minutes! If you don't believe me, try making chicken liver fried with onions and carrots. It can be served either with a side dish of pasta or cereals, boiled or baked vegetables, or without, not forgetting about various sauces and pickles.

So that the liver does not taste bitter after cooking, it does not need to be simmered in a pan for a long time - this culinary mistake ruined many dishes from such an offal. The maximum frying time is 6-8 minutes, then the liver will acquire a bitter taste. For large carrot and onion slices, the roasting time will be about 10 minutes, for chopped slices - 5-6 minutes.

If desired, you can add a little soy sauce, chicken dressing, or other spices during cooking to enhance the flavor and aroma of the dish. Don't forget about fresh herbs. By the way, you need to salt the fried liver only at the very end.

Ingredients:

Chicken liver - 300 g

Onions - 1 pc.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Vegetable oil - 50 ml

Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Prepare food.

Rinse the chicken liver thoroughly in water. Remove bile ducts, dry lightly with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Peel carrots and onions and rinse under running water. Cut into quarters.

Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil on the stove. It is advisable to use something that is odorless. Pour the vegetable slices into a container and pass for 3-5 minutes.

As soon as the onion becomes transparent, and the carrots slightly change their color and are saturated with oil, you can add the offal.

Place the chicken liver in a skillet and stir gently so that the onion is on top and the offal is on the bottom, otherwise the vegetables will burn. Fry for about 3-4 minutes.

Then turn the liver over to the other side and season with salt and pepper. Fry the same amount of time, covering the container with a lid. Thanks to steaming, the offal will not remain moist inside, it will cook evenly.

Put the fried chicken liver with vegetables on plates, garnish with fresh herbs, chop it if desired. Serve the dish warm, it is especially tasty with a side dish of boiled rice.
