Often, the simplest recipes simply produce excellent results. Today's version is a confirmation of this - stewed cabbage with potatoes - delicious, simple, fast and affordable. To prepare a dish, you will need not only a minimum of products, but also very little of your time and effort. Everything you need is often at hand - a simple vegetable set. It is potatoes and cabbage that perfectly "make friends" with each other, on the basis of these products you can create a lot of interesting dishes.

For a change, add meat products, all kinds of spices, herbs to the dish. Experiment, dear friends, do not be afraid!

You can simply serve stewed cabbage with potatoes to the table. If desired, supplement the dish with pickles and herbs, fresh vegetables.

Ingredients:

Cabbage - 200 g

Potatoes - 200 g

Carrots - 1 pc.

Bulb onions - 1 pc.

Salt, pepper - to taste

Granulated garlic - 1 tsp

Vegetable oil - as needed

Prepare all products that are listed. Choose fresh vegetables, without damage.

Cut the cabbage, rinse and dry. Chop in the usual way. If you have a special grater or any device for cutting cabbage, be sure to use it.

Choose a medium size bow. Clean it immediately, rinse it under running water, cut it into small cubes or half rings.

Peel and wash the carrots. Grind into fine shavings.

Peel potato tubers, remove all dark areas. Cut the potatoes into medium cubes.

Prepare two frying pans at once - warm up, pour a spoonful of vegetable oil into each.

Fry the potato cubes in one skillet. Keep for 5-7 minutes - until the potatoes are browned.

Fry cabbage, carrots and onions in the second pan for the same time. Add vegetables to the pan with potatoes, mix. Add salt and pepper, granulated garlic. Stir all ingredients again, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 15 minutes.
