Cabbage rolls in an unusual way: mushrooms, vegetable sauce and sour cream

This dish is dearly loved in my family and we are preparing it 1-2 times a month on weekends. Thus was born here is a recipe that does not cook cabbage rolls in the sauce and baked in the oven with a mixture of vegetables, marinade.

Stuffed cabbage obtained juicy, fragrant and delicious. Try it!

Ingredients:

500 gr. minced meat
0.5 cups cooked rice (4 tbsp. l. with slide)
200 gr. mushroom
2 onions
carrot
3 or 3 with tomato. l. tomato paste
bell pepper
head cabbage (10-12 foxes or Peking)
2 garlic cloves
1 h. l. flour
100 ml of cream or cream
vegetable oil
salt
ground black pepper

Preparation:

1. Mushrooms and onions chop. Then fried in vegetable oil.

2. Mix the minced meat with fried mushrooms and add the rice. Knead stuffing his hands to become homogeneous and sticky.

3. Season minced salt and black pepper. Also I recommend dry - garlic, paprika, thyme. Dry garlic - because of too strong flavor of fresh.

There is another trick in the preparation of stuffing for cabbage rolls - this add the chopped tomato.

All the stuffing is ready, put into the refrigerator, let insisted.

4. For the sauce, marinade, peel and chop the second onion. Carrots grate.
Spasserovat onion and carrot in vegetable oil.

5. Wash tomatoes and cut into cubes. Put the tomatoes to the onions and carrots. Optionally, you can first remove them from the skin.
You can replace the tomatoes in the tomato paste.

Bell pepper, better red, clean from the seeds and finely chop also. Add the rest of the vegetables.

Simmer sauce on low heat for 5 minutes.

6. In the sauce add the chopped garlic, add the flour and add the sour cream (cream).
Then add a little hot water. Mix well. Cook for 3-5 minutes and remove from heat.

7. With cabbage remove the leaves, boil for 1-2 minutes for soft or use Beijing.

8. The cabbage leaves wrapped 1-1.5 Art. l. stuffing, stuffed cabbage to give form dense envelopes and put all the dishes for baking.

9. Vegetable sauce cool until warm to the immersion blender and blend until smooth.

10. Salt and pepper sauce, then pour over cabbage rolls.

11. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

12. Put the form with stuffed cabbage in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.

Serve stuffed hot.
