There are quite a few ways to cook meatballs in sour cream sauce. They can be cooked in a frying pan, in a saucepan or oven, that is, fried, stewed or baked. Each of the options assumes a delicious meal. Today we bake meatballs in the oven. They will come out very soft, juicy, and will not contain excess fat.
Meatballs in sour cream sauce are prepared in two stages - first, they are lightly fried in a pan to set the crust, then in a heat-resistant container they are baked in the oven. You can add garlic and other spices of your choice to the piquant sauce.

Ingredients:
Beef pulp - 500 gr.
Round rice - 100 gr.
Bulb onions - 1 pc.
Egg - 1 pc.
Garlic - 1 tooth
Sour cream - 250 gr.
Wheat flour - 50 gr.
Vegetable oil - 40 ml.
Milk - 150 ml.
Thyme - 1 tsp
Parsley - 20 gr.
Salt, pepper - to taste
How to cook:
Prepare food.
Boil the rice initially to allow it to cool. Rinse the groats thoroughly, fill with water in a 1: 2 ratio, put the pan on the stove. After boiling, reduce the heat, add salt to the water. Cook the rice until the liquid evaporates for about 15 minutes. Cool it completely after cooking.
Separate the head of the onion from the husk, chop it arbitrarily, throw it into the blender bowl. Grind.
Cut the meat into small pieces, put in a container with onion gruel. Turn the blender back on full force, turn the beef into minced meat. To do this, you can still use a meat grinder.
Combine minced meat in a deep bowl with cooled rice.
Beat in one egg next. Season the minced meat with salt and ground pepper, mix well.
After moistening your palms with water, separate small portions from the minced meat and roll the balls of the same size. Season each one in wheat flour from all sides.
Place a frying pan on the burner, pour in the oil. After heating, place the meat pieces on the surface. Fix the fire on a medium level; do not cover the pan. Fry the minced balls on both sides until golden brown appears on the surface.
Simultaneously prepare sour cream sauce: combine sour cream and milk in a bowl, stir intensively with a whisk. Then add salt and thyme, squeeze a clove of garlic through a press. Rub the thyme with your fingers before adding, so it will have a more pronounced aroma.
Transfer the fried meatballs to an ovenproof dish, pour the sour cream sauce on top. Load into an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Cook the dish for 30 minutes. You can pour gravy on the balls periodically. Do not increase the oven temperature.
Cool the finished meatballs in sour cream sauce before use, then add herbs and serve.
