Ingredients:

Ginger root - 30 g

Green tea - 3 sachets

Water - 0.8 l

Mint - 3 stalks

Honey - 4 tablespoons

Lemon - 0.5 pcs.

Prepare food.

Scald the lemon with boiling water and cut in half. Remove pits from one half, if any, and cut into slices or quarters.

Pour the lemon slices into a teapot or thermos. Place 2-3 green tea bags in the same place.

Optionally, you can replace the tea bags with loose tea, but then after brewing you will need to strain the prepared drink through a strainer.

Peel part of the ginger root, grate with fine cells or cut into thin slices. Rinse fresh mint, pick off the leaves from the stems and add them to the container along with the ginger mixture.

Boil filtered water in a kettle and pour boiling water into a container. Close the lid and let it brew for about 15 minutes. Then remove the lid and cool the drink to 35 degrees.

Stir in cooked flower honey. It is desirable that the temperature of the tea is not higher than 35 degrees, otherwise the honey product will lose its useful qualities.

Pour the prepared ginger tea into cups and serve warm. If desired, it can be flavored with a pinch of hot red pepper.

For the preservation of tea: strain it through a strainer, then pour into a thermos immediately after adding honey and twist tightly. In this form, the drink can be taken with you on the road, to work or to a picnic.
