Charlotte is one of the most popular apple pies in the world. Each country has its own version of the popular dessert. Why is there in the world, every family has its own signature recipe for this cake. It is quite simple to prepare and does not require expensive products, therefore it is a frequent treat on our tables.

Charlotte is very popular in autumn - the time of the apple harvest. In most cases, a biscuit made from eggs and flour beaten with sugar is used as a dough. In my version, I propose to reduce the number of eggs and add kefir and vegetable oil to the baking composition. In addition to apples, I will use cranberries. It will give it juiciness with a pleasant sourness.

Some housewives are afraid that kefir is a rather heavy component and will not allow the pie to rise when baking. To prevent this from happening when mixing dry ingredients (flour and baking powder) with liquid ingredients, do not knead the dough for too long.

Ingredients:

Flour - 2 cups

Vegetable oil - 100 ml.

Eggs - 2 pcs.

Sugar - 1 glass

Baking powder - 1 tsp.

Apples - 5 pcs.

Cranberries - 150 grams

Kefir - 200 ml.

Prepare the necessary ingredients for making the apple and cranberry pie. Instead of kefir, you can take any fermented milk product: natural yogurt, sour milk, sour cream.

For beating eggs, in order to save time, it is more convenient to use a food processor or mixer. Place them in the bowl of the food processor without separating the whites from the yolks.

Beat the eggs until a persistent foam forms.

Add sugar and continue beating until sugar grains are dissolved.

Pour kefir and vegetable oil into the whipped mass. Beat the mixture for another minute. If you are confused by the amount of oil, you can reduce it a little.
