Squids are a great addition to any side dish. In addition to its excellent taste, these seafood has a number of other advantages. Firstly, they contain a large number of useful substances, and secondly, they cook very quickly, that is, in a matter of minutes you can create an excellent dish.

These seafood are fried on their own or supplemented with some kind of sauce, for example, sour cream is perfect. Thanks to sour cream, the squid is softer and more delicate in taste, with a pleasant sourness.

We also use onions and a number of spices in the recipe. By the way, it turns out very tasty and unusual if you add cheese to the dish. For density, add a little flour to the sour cream. It is better to fry seafood in butter than in vegetable oil.

Ingredients:

Squid carcasses (fresh frozen) - 3 pcs. (500 gr.)

Onions - 1 pc.

Butter - 50 gr.

Sour cream 20% - 200 gr.

Flour - 1 tbsp.

Hard cheese - 100 gr.

Italian herbs - 0.5 tsp

Dill - 10 gr.

Salt to taste

Ground garlic - 0.5 tsp

Red pepper - to taste

Prepare food.

Rinse freshly frozen squids under running water to melt all the ice. Peel the carcasses of films inside and out (it is she who becomes rigid during heat treatment), take out the transparent (chitin) plate. Cut the squid into large rings of approximately the same thickness.

Remove the top layer from the onion head. Cut the vegetable into strips, toss into a skillet set on fire.

Fry onions in butter for 2 minutes. The strips should be saturated with oil and become soft and translucent.

Throw squid to the onion, season them with spices and salt. But keep in mind that seafood itself is a little salty, so don't overdo it with salt.

First, evaporate all the juice that the squid will let out, and then fry them for no more than 1 minute, otherwise they will be rubbery. The rings should become firm and tight.

Add sour cream, stirring it all over the pan.

After a minute, add flour in small portions, while constantly stirring the mixture so that no lumps arise. Literally immediately, the sour cream sauce will begin to thicken.

Grind hard cheese, add to the main composition. Remove the pan from the heat immediately, and do not stop stirring the mixture until the cheese chips are completely melted.

Cool the squid in sour cream sauce, then serve.
