If you have your own garden and the harvest of cucumbers turned out to be great, then the recipe for canning them in pieces may come in handy. Sometimes cucumbers grow medium or large in size, when it is already inconvenient to fold into cans, and only a few of them fit, that's when I remember this method of rolling. Preservation is prepared simply and quickly enough, and you get very tasty, sweet and sour crunchy cucumber slices, which are very convenient to use.

Ingredients:
Cucumbers - 1.2 kg
Water - 0.5 l
Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Salt - 1 tablespoon
Vinegar 9% - 2 tablespoons
Tomato sauce - 3 tablespoons
Peppercorns - 12 pcs.
Bay leaf - 2 pcs.
Garlic - 2 cloves
Onions - 50 g
Carrots - 100 g
Cloves - 1 pc.
Coriander peas - 1.5 tsp
Dill - 6 branches
Parsley - 6 branches
How to do:
To marinate cucumbers in slices for the winter, prepare all the necessary foods according to the list. The specified amount is enough for two cans of 800 ml.
Peel and wash onions, garlic and carrots. Wash cucumbers thoroughly with a soft plastic brush to remove dirt and pimples, and then soak them in clean cold water for 2-3 hours.
Wash jars and lids thoroughly with hot water and dishwashing detergent, rinse well with plenty of cold water. Divide all the spices and seasonings from the list in half and place them in the bottom of each jar.
Cut the cucumbers into 1 centimeter thick slices, and the carrots up to 0.5 centimeters thick. Transfer the chopped vegetables to the jars under the very neck, alternating them, so the finished curls will look much prettier.
Boil water in a kettle, fill the jars with the contents with it so that it overflows. Cover the blanks with lids, leave for 15 minutes.
After a while, drain the water into a saucepan, bring it to a boil. Pour in salt and sugar, dissolve them completely.
Now add three full tablespoons of your favorite tomato sauce or ketchup, bring to a boil. As soon as the marinade boils, pour in the vinegar and remove from heat. Pour it into the jars immediately and roll up the lids.
Place the jars upside down, cover with something warm and leave in this position until they cool completely.
Transfer the completely cooled blanks to a dark, cool place and store them there until winter.
Enjoy!
