Potatoes with sausage in the oven is a very satisfying and tasty dish. Experiments are possible here, if instead of boiled sausage you take, for example, boiled-smoked sausage. It is better not to use uncooked smoked, since after baking in the oven it turns out to be quite dry. It is better to take sour cream of medium or low fat content, since the dish is already quite high in calories.
This is ideal for a hearty lunch, but it's better to cook something lighter for dinner.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 300-400 g
- Boiled sausage - 200 g
- Bulb onions - 1 pc.
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
- Salt to taste
- Spices to taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.
Peel the vegetables, then rinse thoroughly with running water. Remove the casing from the sausage.
If desired, you can add a chopped clove of garlic to the dish before baking - the characteristic aroma will be very appropriate.
Use a sharp knife to cut the potatoes into small pieces - cubes, sticks or slices. For the latter option, a special grater is useful, with its help it will be possible to save a little time.
Chop the boiled sausage into strips or cubes. You can cut it larger - in halves or quarters of circles.
Cut the peeled onions into strips or half rings. In addition to it, you can also add carrots - the dish will look brighter, however, in a boiled state, not everyone likes it.
For baking potatoes with sausage, you need to choose a suitable form with not too low sides. Lubricate the bottom and sides with vegetable oil.
Then transfer the prepared foods to the container - potatoes, sausage, onions. At this stage, add salt to the dish and add spices. You do not need to overload with seasonings, you can take a little black pepper, a little coriander, as well as a ready-made potato set.
Place the sour cream in the pan. It must be fresh, not sour, otherwise the finished dish will acquire a similar flavor.
Mix the ingredients gently in a mold. The oven must be heated to a temperature of 170 degrees. To prevent the top layer of potatoes from drying out and burning, you need to cover the form with foil or a lid.
After 20 minutes of baking, you can remove the foil and continue to cook the dish for 5-7 minutes.
Ready-made potatoes with sausage can be served immediately. Fresh herbs and tomato sauce perfectly complement the dish and make it simply unrealistically tasty.
